The VCAAA’s Information & Assistance (I&A) team is on the front lines of the Agency, taking all incoming calls and assisting the public with a variety of resources, which include:
- Housing
- Transportation
- Caregiver Support
- Food and Meal Assistance
- Case Management
- Referrals (connecting clients with VCAAA programs, or with outside agencies and organizations)
The I&A team is a crucial link for persons aged 60 and over, people with disabilities and their caregivers. The I&A staff will refer all callers to the appropriate programs and services in their communities that can help address a variety of situations.
